Make Stuff Monday!
Monday 2nd January:
Hello, welcome to 2012! We’re now 3 days in and it’s not looking too shabby. A few earthquakes here and there but oh well.
With a new year comes new resolutions. I drew mine in my visual diary with a plan to make it part of my Make Stuff Monday project. I’ve overlaid the resolutions text onto a painting I did a while ago, here is the result:

I realised after I’d finished the writing the resolutions it should say France not Paris, seeing as the others are countries not cities and we are in fact visiting more than one city in France…Anywhooo!
Here are some other works I made:

So yes, that is my entry for Make Stuff Monday, even though it’s now Tuesday.
I should probably do a year in review regarding 2011 but it was not my most enjoyable year, probably the worst I’ve ever had so I happy to say goodbye to it.

Monday 26th December:

I’m excited to announce I’ve created a new project for myself. I’ve kept telling myself I want to get back into making stuff but then I never really get around to doing anything. As I was driving to work one morning I thought, why don’t I make a goal of making something each Monday.
Now it doesn’t have to be anything extravagant, just a photograph, something on photoshop, a drawing, a painting, a cake, a drink, a mess even! Anything!
So today is Monday, the 26th of December. I’m going to count creating the images for Make Stuff Monday as my work for today. I’ve made a tab in the links bar for Make Stuff Monday but I’ll probably still put it on the main page weekly.

Oh & here’s a couple of shots from my Uncle’s camera that I dusted off last Monday!!! So this can count for today also. They turned out quite well, I do love film so much. I love to suspense of getting your film back and finally looking at the photos. There’s something about the colours and the look of a film print too. Love.

Some cool art work down the street from me. This is where some of the local shops were demolished after the earthquake. Actually it’s where Graphic Addiction was, where I got my tattoos done.
