I am admittedly a very impatient person. This is half the reason why I don’t draw or paint very often anymore, because if it’s not looking good in the first few minutes, I give up. I go at things way too quickly and expect to have a piece finished in less than an hour.

But today, due to my dog having an accident on the carpet in the weekend, all the furniture in the lounge was moved into the garage, including the TV and the internet modem, ready for the carpets to be cleaned. So I was tv-less and internet-less all day (although I did have the flat screen and xbox 360 upstairs so I did in fact have a Community marathon while I was drawing).

Anyway, so this is what 8 or so hours without the lounge accomplished…

This was the teaser picture I took first, because my initial thoughts were “I’m going to take this so slow, it’s ok if it takes more than a day” but I ended up finishing it today anyway…

And I even started working on a second drawing. You might see that next week?
